Who doesn't love the flavor and scent of mint? This versatile and vigorous plant has endless uses such as in teas, desserts, arrangements, and cooking recipes. It also has countless varieties with many unique and fun flavors and scents. Mint is a low maintenance plant that thrives in sun to partial shade in rich soil. Water evenly and consistently, but do not let roots get too soggy. Mint is a cold-hardy, perennial that will return each season. Known to be an aggressive spreader, it is recommended to plant mint in a contained area or pot so its roots cannot take over. Mint has medicinally been used for centuries as a digestion aid and makes a delightful tea.
