Helenium, also known by its common name "Sneezeweed", are brightly colored daisy like flowers native to the United States and Canada. The yellow native flowers are often found growing in moist, low lying meadows, or at the edge of damp woodlands. They are a tall growing perennial, ranging in size from 2 to 5 feet, boasting beautiful flowers that bloom from summer into fall in shades of yellow, gold, orange, copper, and red. Cutting the spent flowers will encourage more blooms for a continual display from summer to fall. Butterflies and bees love Helenium!
