FALSE SUNFLOWER (hELIOPSIS)

They tolerate a wide range of growing conditions, medium to dry soil, and even a bit of part shade. False sunflowers have the added bonus of being attracted to bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and are even deer resistant!
