african daisy (Arctotis)
Vibrant daisy flowers burst open on sunny days in a kaleidoscope of colors. Soft grey-green leaves create a nice contrasting mound for the showcase of these lovely blooms. Arctotis, commonly known as African Daisy, are native to the dry, stony slopes of Southern Africa. These plants are quite drought tolerant and are a perfect addition to rock gardens. Flowers bloom from spring through fall, and will generally stop blooming it the intense heat of summer, but will start again once temperatures cool off.
