Many varieties of Coreopsis are considered a tender perennial, more suited for zone 5 areas. But these bright and sunny flowers make wonderful additions to decorative planters and garden beds, with the added bonus of 'possibly' returning the following year! They love full sun, warm weather, and are very easy to grow. Deadhead spent blooms to promote continuous season long flowering. A favorite of bees and butterflies, deer tend to leave them alone as well!
