ASTILBE
Astilbe's brighten shade gardens with their brilliant midsummer colors. Soft plumes of reds, purples, pinks, and whites rise about ferny foliage. Many Astilbe's bloom in spring and prefer shady locations with lots of water. However, the varieties we offer at Sprouts are more heat and drought tolerant, can grow in more sunny locations, and will bloom later in the season. Astilbe's attract butterflies , make wonderful cut flowers, and are also deer resistant!
