ROCK CRESS
Aubrieta deltoidia (Rock Cress) is a semi-evergreen, mat forming perennial that produce masses of vivid, purple red and white flowers in mid spring to early summer. A wonderful plant for rock gardens, ground cover, spilling over walls, planting between stepping stones and in between rock crevices, of which Rock Cress gets its name! Tolerates rocky, dry soil and will bloom in full to part sun. Good drainage is a must for this plant, as it can be difficult to overwinter in areas of heavy, wet soil. Loved by butterflies, but disliked by deer, you won't be able to resist the beauty of this plant in bloom!
