SPIDER WORT
Spiderwort is a fun plant that forms clumps of grass-like foliage, topped with clusters of beautiful, 3 petaled, purple flowers. Beginning in early summer, each flower opens in the morning and lasts thru the afternoon, blooming for just one day. However, Spiderwort will continue to produce flowers all summer and into fall. The plant thrives in moist but well-draining soil but is otherwise unfussy, growing well in both sunny and partially shady environments. A perfect plant for woodland gardens or around a pond.
