SWISS CHARD
A beautiful, leafy green to add some color and fun to your garden. As a member of the beet family the stems and leaves can be eaten raw or cooked to add a boost of nutrition to any dish. A cool season crop, Swiss Chard grows vigorously when planted in early spring or fall, but it is also a very heat tolerant green, and will continue to successfully produce through the summer. Plant in full sun in well draining soil, and water consistently and evenly.
