SLICING TOMATO

Slicer tomatoes are known for being  fairly easy to grow tomato plants.  They have early maturity, high disease resistance, as well as produce heavy yields of delicious fruit.  The flavor and texture of these tomato varieties make them a great choice to eat fresh in salsas, bruschetta, sandwiches, salads, or alone in slices.  Tomatoes like being planted in full sun with regular deep waterings.  Make sure when watering to try to avoid getting leaves wet to avoid diseases.  Tomatoes are a warm weather crop that is susceptible to frost so make sure to plant after risk of frost has passed. Tomatoes also thrive with a regular fertilizing routine , and would benefit from a fertilizer that contained calcium to prevent blossom end rot.  These varieties make a great choice for the Wyoming farmers who wants a reliable plant with fresh delicious tomatoes in abundance.
