BEE BALM
If you want to attract pollinators, this is the perennial to do it. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and of course bees, all find Bee Balm very irresistible. These flowers have a fun blossom that varies in shape and color depending on the variety. Bee Balm can spread throughout your gardening adding a burst of color to any bed. Depending on variety, it can bloom from mid summer to early fall. Cut back foliage to encourage another bloom later in the season . It can handle a variety of soils, and prefers average well drained moisture levels. Thrives in full sun but can tolerate some shade. Bee Balm is also deer resistant.
