DIANTHUS
When it comes to Dianthus the diversity is endless. Ranging from small clusters of pink or white flowers surrounded by emerald clumps of thin leaves, to three foot tall varieties with fiery red fringed flowers and deep greenery. Dianthus are usually a compact choice, that have an endless blooming season starting at the beginning of summer, especially with a mid season trim. They tolerate heavy heat, and even thrive in it, making them a great choice for hot Wyoming summers. They are deer resistant, and require average watering needs. Another extremely easy choice to add some color and glamour to your garden.
