EVENING PRIMROSE
The Evening Primrose is a native, low-growing mound that produces a brilliant lemon, yellow flower atop narrow-leaved foliage. The delicate paper-like petals gleam and sparkle in the sun, stopping any gardener in their tracks. The plant grows in full sun and tolerate poor well draining soils. Their drought tolerance makes them a perfect choice for rock gardens or native wildflower gardens with sandier soil. The plant blooms abundantly from late spring through fall. The Primrose flower only remains for one day, but don't fret, because as one flower fades, there is always another waiting to take it place.
