Wormwood (Artemesia) is a lovely addition to the garden with its delicate, soft, silvery green, mounded foliage. A vigorous ground cover, the silver mound chokes out unwanted weeds, creating a stunning filler for your perennial beds. The beach wormwood variety is a wonderful accent ground cover, spreading outward and filling in quickly with its soft, silvery foliage. Wormwood performs best in full to partial sun in average soil. Make sure to split it every few years to encourage even growth. It’s cold hardiness, deer resistance, and drought tolerance, makes this an easy to grow choice!
