Pears are relatively uncommon in our area, but there are varieties that are plenty hardy for us. They can be a very beautiful landscape tree as they form a very pyramidal shape with glossy green leaves. In addition, they have great flowering in the springtime.
Extremely hardy pear brings white spring blossoms and glossy green foliage which turns yellow to purple in fall. Early maturing green-gold fruit for fresh eating and preserves. Cross-pollinate with another pear for consistent yield- 'Patten' is a good pollinator.
RIPENS EARLY AUGUST
POLLINATOR NOT NECESSARY, BUT RECOMMENDED FOR BETTER PRODUCTION
