PEARS

Pears are relatively uncommon in our area, but there are several varieties that are hardy and easy to grow.  They can be a very beautiful landscape tree with a very pyramidal shape and glossy green leaves.  In addition, they have beautiful white flowers in the springtime. Pears do require cross pollination of a different variety.
