Pyramid shaped, cottonless variety with ascending branches and narrow willow-like leaves. Prefers moist conditions and does well in high altitudes up to 8,500 feet.

Broad, irregularly rounded canopy with coarse, spreading branches. Smooth, grayish bark becomes deeply grooved and darker as it ages. Large triangular- shaped leaves turn yellow in fall.
