Ornamental Elderberries are a very beautiful landscape plant with interesting colors and a unique leaf shape. Japanese Maples do not grow in Wyoming, but try a 'Black Lace' Elderberry as a replacement. Fast growing, hardy shrubs will grow in full to part sun locations.
