GERMAN IRIS
The German Iris is an old fashioned classic that is a staple among many gardens. The Germain Iris produces fragrant, showy flowers characterized by their elegant display of 'beards' and 'falls'. They come in a wide selection of colors such as deep royal purples and soft pastel pinks. Usually a tall plant, these make a beautiful background plant in your garden or along the side of your home. They are cold hardy, deer resistant, and flourish in full sun with well drained soil and moderate water. German Iris bloom in spring, then most varieties that we carry have a good chance of a re-blooming come fall. Growing through Rhizomes, make sure not to plant your Irises too deep as you can experience risk of rot.
