LIGULARIA
Ligularia has large foliage in shades of deep green to burgundy that maintains its beauty all season long. It's large leathery, leaves fan out and create depth to any bed. Come midsummer, they explode in spikes of bright yellow and gold daisy flowers. They thrive in waterlogged, boggy areas along streams or bodies of water. It is a cold hardy perennial that is relatively maintenane free and can handle clay or loamy soils. It is somewhat deer resistant. A must have for the shade garden!
