ICELAND POPPY
The Icelandic poppy is a cold-hardy perennial that thrives in more northern environments. They bloom in late spring to early summer, adding a pop of color to any garden. Atop of fuzzy, fern like foliage, the flowers glow with a satin shimmer on their delicate petals. They require a moderate or average amount of moisture in well draining soil. Make sure not to overwater as this will be detrimental to the growth of your plant. They thrive in full sun but tolerate some shade. With the added plus of being extremely deer resistant, the Icelandic Poppy is a relatively maintenance free plant.
