ORIENTAL POPPY
Atop of fuzzy, green stems, Oriental Poppies are a vision of elegance. They bloom in early summer and have the added perk of being cold hardy and deer resistant. Plant in a well-drained, sunny spot and enjoy the explosion of color. Though they require adequate moisture, be aware as to not overwater poppies as this can leave them struggling. Poppies are known to spread, so be ready to enjoy multiples of this lovely plant.
