Chives are a cold hardy, flavorful, and easy to grow perennial herb. Both the leaves and flowers are edible, adding an onion-like flavor to any dish. Plant in full sun with well draining soil, and water if conditions are dry. Every couple years make sure to divide chive plants, so that overcrowding does not occur. Chives plants will readily reseed if left to flower and you might find new plants in different locations the following year!
