Elephant ears are a great addition to any container or garden bed. Mostly used as a focal point, they grow tall and large. True to their name, they display giant, lush leaves that resemble the ears of an elephant. These large leaves provide a tropical or jungle like setting to any area that they are planted. Bold colors decorate leaves that fan out from atop elongated stems. Plant in partial shade, with a preference for morning sun, with well draining soils. As a water loving plant, water regularly especially in the summer to keep soil adequately moist.
